We have launched a free No-Code/Low-Code AI Automation Bootcamp to provide practical training in AI and business process automation.
This bootcamp builds on our previous Agentic AI Training Programme, through which we trained African software engineers to build and deploy AI agents.
The No-Code/Low-Code AI Automation Bootcamp is open to anyone interested in learning AI automation, regardless of educational background, profession, or level of technical experience. No prior coding or automation experience is required.
Participants will learn how to analyse processes, build automated workflows, connect applications, incorporate AI into specific tasks, test system performance, and manage workflows after deployment.
The tools covered during the programme include Make, Zapier, n8n, Airtable, Lovable, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, and Claude.
Why AI Automation Skills Matter
Many business processes require employees to transfer information between applications, update records, send notifications, prepare reports, respond to enquiries, and follow up on incomplete requests.
When employees handle every stage manually, these activities consume time and can result in delayed responses, missing information, duplicate records, and inconsistent follow-ups.
Automation can manage the repetitive and rule-based parts of these processes. A workflow can collect information, move it between connected systems, initiate predefined actions, notify the appropriate people, and record completed activities.
Employees remain responsible for reviewing sensitive information, resolving exceptions, and making decisions that require professional judgement. Automation reduces repetitive work while keeping people in control of important decisions.
About the No-Code/Low-Code AI Automation Bootcamp
The bootcamp combines instructor-led lessons, live demonstrations, weekly labs, assignments, and project-based learning. The programme takes participants through each stage of developing an automated workflow, from identifying a suitable process and selecting the required tools to testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
Participants will learn how to examine a manual process, identify repetitive and rule-based tasks, and determine which decisions require human involvement. They will then translate the process into a functional workflow by connecting applications, configuring triggers and actions, mapping data fields, creating conditions for different outcomes, and adding approval stages where necessary.
The practical sessions will allow participants to build workflows, test how information moves between connected systems, and confirm that every action performs as intended. They will also learn how to identify configuration errors, manage incomplete information, respond to failed processes, and review AI-generated outputs before those outputs are used.
Through assignments and completed projects, participants will develop experience in documenting workflows, explaining the logic behind their configurations, and monitoring automated systems after deployment. This ensures that participants understand both how to build an automation and how to maintain it in regular use.
Tools Covered During the Programme
Participants will learn how to use automation, database, application-development, and generative AI tools to build connected workflows. The training will cover the purpose of each platform, the tasks it can perform, and how it can be connected to other systems.
Make
Participants will use Make to connect applications and build visual workflows containing multiple actions, conditions, and data transfers.
They will also learn how to review workflow history, identify failed operations, correct data-mapping errors, and restart unsuccessful processes.
Zapier
Participants will use Zapier to automate actions between business applications. They will create workflows that begin when a defined event occurs, such as receiving a form submission or adding a new database record.
The resulting workflow may create a task, update a record, send a notification, or transfer information to another application.
n8n
Participants will use n8n to build configurable, multi-step workflows. They will learn how to connect applications, apply conditional logic, transform information, and create different routes for different outcomes.
Airtable
Participants will use Airtable to create structured databases for storing and organising information.
They will learn how to create tables, define fields, manage records, connect related information, collect data through forms, and use Airtable as a central database for automated workflows.
Lovable
Participants will use Lovable to create web applications and interfaces. These interfaces may be used to collect information, display records, or give users access to an automated process.
They will also learn how to connect the interfaces they create to databases and other applications used within a workflow.
OpenClaw
Participants will use OpenClaw to understand how AI systems can complete defined tasks within a broader automated process.
They will learn how to assign tasks to an AI system, provide the information required to complete those tasks, connect its output to other stages of a workflow, and add human approval where necessary.
ChatGPT
Participants will use ChatGPT to plan workflows, map processes, analyse data, create structured outputs, generate formulas and code snippets, interpret API documentation, and troubleshoot configuration errors.
They will also learn how to use ChatGPT to create test cases, organise information, document automated processes, and develop instructions for AI-powered workflow stages.
Claude
Participants will use Claude to break complex processes into workflow stages, review technical requirements, analyse documents, prepare data structures, generate formulas and code snippets, and identify errors in workflow logic.
They will also learn how to use Claude to review API requirements, create test scenarios, support application development, and prepare technical documentation for completed workflows.
The training will not focus only on operating each platform separately. Participants will learn how to select the appropriate tool for a specific requirement, connect multiple tools within one workflow, manage the movement of information between systems, and document the completed process for future maintenance.
Expanding Access to AI Automation Training
The cost of technical training and the assumption that automation requires advanced programming knowledge can limit access to AI automation skills.
We are offering the bootcamp at no cost and have removed prior coding experience as an entry requirement. This gives people from different educational and professional backgrounds an opportunity to develop practical automation skills.
Through structured lessons, weekly labs, assignments, and projects, participants will develop skills in process mapping, application integration, workflow configuration, testing, error management, and system monitoring. They will be able to apply these skills in employment, business operations, freelance projects, and entrepreneurship.
This bootcamp extends our work in AI training by making automation skills available to a broader group of participants. We will continue to update the programme as AI tools, automation platforms, and organisational requirements change.
