We are working with the Three Million Technical Talent programme and the National Youth Service Corps to help Nigerian corps members access career resources and employment opportunities through Loubby AI.

The initiative connects skills development with the practical steps involved in preparing for employment, presenting professional experience, discovering relevant roles, and managing job applications.

Through activations at NYSC orientation camps, corps members are introduced to the Loubby AI platform and shown how to use its career tools. The initiative is intended to support more than 250,000 corps members who participate in the national service programme each year.

Connecting Skills Development With Employment

The 3MTT programme, led by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, provides training in technical areas such as software development, data analysis, cloud computing, product design, and cybersecurity.

Developing these skills is an important part of preparing young people for employment. Corps members must also be able to present their qualifications clearly, identify suitable positions, manage applications, and connect with employers.

Loubby AI supports this part of the process by giving corps members access to career profiles, job opportunities, application tools, and learning resources through one platform.

Access to these resources does not guarantee employment. It gives participants a structured way to prepare for roles, improve their professional visibility, and apply for opportunities that match their skills and interests.

Engaging Corps Members at NYSC Orientation Camps

Our team introduced the initiative to corps members at NYSC orientation camps in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.

The sessions showed participants how to create their Loubby AI accounts, complete their professional profiles, present their skills and experience, and explore available employment opportunities.

Corps members were also introduced to tools for preparing and improving their résumés, recording video introductions, receiving job recommendations, tracking applications, and accessing learning resources.

By delivering these sessions within orientation camps, we reached graduates at an important point in their transition from education to national service and employment.

Career Tools Available on Loubby AI

Corps members can create public professional profiles containing their education, work experience, technical skills, projects, and other relevant information. Each profile has a shareable link that can be sent to employers or included in job applications.

Loubby AI also provides résumé tools that help users create new CVs or adapt existing ones to the requirements of specific positions. Participants can review the suggested changes and decide which information to include before submitting an application.

Video résumés allow corps members to introduce themselves and communicate information that may not be fully represented in a written CV. These recordings can help employers understand a candidate’s communication skills, interests, and professional goals.

Job recommendations help users discover positions related to the information included in their profiles. Candidates can also monitor applications through a central dashboard and keep track of the different stages of their job search.

Through Loubby Learn, corps members can access training materials and career resources that support continued learning and employment preparation.

Loubby AI’s Role in the Initiative

Our role is to provide the technology that helps corps members prepare for employment and connect with potential employers.

Through Loubby AI, candidates can create professional profiles, present evidence of their skills, discover relevant positions, and manage applications. Employers can publish vacancies, review candidate profiles, conduct assessments, coordinate interviews, and manage recruitment activities.

Bringing these functions together reduces the need for candidates and employers to manage the recruitment process across multiple disconnected systems.

Supporting Employers Seeking Early-Career Talent

The initiative also gives employers access to graduates with different educational backgrounds and professional interests.

Employers can use Loubby AI to review candidate information, assess applicants, coordinate interviews, and manage the recruitment process. Where a role requires specific technical skills, employers remain responsible for confirming that candidates meet the requirements before making a hiring decision.

This gives organisations a structured way to recruit interns, entry-level employees, freelancers, and other early-career professionals.

Extending Support Beyond Orientation Camp

The orientation-camp activations introduce corps members to the platform, but access to Loubby AI continues after the sessions.

Participants can update their profiles as they gain experience, complete training, add projects, or acquire new certifications. They can also continue reviewing available roles and using the platform’s career resources during and after their service year.

We will continue working with 3MTT and NYSC to introduce more corps members to these tools and improve the connection between skills development and employment access.

Corps members can create a profile and explore available opportunities at www.loubby.ai. Employers can also use the platform to recruit and manage talent.
