Loubby AI and DivVerse Labs Agentic AI Training for African Tech Professionals

We have launched a free Agentic AI Training Programme with DivVerse Labs to help experienced African software developers and data engineers develop practical skills in building AI agents.

The 10-week virtual programme is open to qualified engineers living in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana. It combines technical instruction, mentorship, weekly practical labs, and project-based learning.

Applications and prequalification are managed through the Loubby AI platform. This allows us to support the programme from candidate application and assessment through training and access to relevant career opportunities.

Why We Created the Programme

Companies are beginning to use AI agents to complete multi-step tasks across software development, research, customer service, sales, operations, and other business functions.

Building these systems requires engineers who understand how language models process instructions, access information, use external tools, complete sequences of actions, and operate within defined controls.

Many African engineers already have experience in backend development, full-stack engineering, data science, and data engineering. However, access to structured Agentic AI training, experienced mentors, and practical projects remains limited.

We created the programme to give qualified engineers a structured way to develop these specialised skills without paying a training fee.

About the Agentic AI Training Programme

The Agentic AI Training Programme is a free, 10-week virtual programme for experienced software developers and data engineers in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana.

Applicants are expected to have three to four years of experience in full-stack development, backend development, data science, or data engineering. They must also have a working knowledge of Python and be able to dedicate at least three hours each week to the programme.

Applications and prequalification are completed through the Loubby AI platform. Applicants take a Python assessment before completing an interview with Dara, Loubby AI’s AI interviewer, which is used to verify their experience and technical background.

The programme combines guided instruction, mentorship, weekly practical labs, and project-based learning. Participants apply what they learn by building AI systems and completing projects based on the subjects covered during training.

More information about the programme structure, eligibility requirements, and application process is available in the DivVerse Labs Agentic AI Training Programme overview.

Loubby AI’s Role in the Programme

Loubby AI provides the platform used to manage applications and prequalification for the programme.

Applicants create or update their Loubby AI profiles, submit their applications, and complete the required assessments through the platform. This creates a consistent selection process and gives the programme team access to relevant information about each applicant’s experience and technical background.

Dara, our AI interviewer, supports the second stage of prequalification by reviewing applicants’ experience and technology skills based on the information provided in their résumés.

Our role also connects the training programme with career development. Participants can use their Loubby AI profiles to present their experience, acquired skills, and completed projects to potential employers.

Completion of the programme does not guarantee employment. However, participants who meet the graduation requirements can be considered for relevant roles with DivVerse Labs and its partner companies.

Practical Training and Project Experience

The programme requires participants to apply the concepts covered during training through weekly labs and practical projects.

This structure allows participants to develop experience beyond classroom instruction. They must demonstrate that they can interpret technical requirements, build functional AI systems, test their work, identify errors, and complete projects within the required period.

Participants who complete the programme will have project work that demonstrates their ability to apply Agentic AI concepts. They can add these projects to their professional portfolios and use them when applying for relevant employment or client work.

The programme also creates a cross-country learning environment for engineers in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana. Participants can collaborate, review one another’s work, and maintain professional connections after the training.

Connecting Specialised Skills With Career Opportunities

The demand for AI skills is creating new roles and project requirements across different industries. Employers need professionals who can move beyond the basic use of AI tools and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI systems.

Through this programme, participants can develop specialised experience while strengthening the professional information available on their Loubby AI profiles.

Employers using Loubby AI can review candidates’ experience and skills when recruiting for relevant positions. This creates a clearer connection between the training participants complete and the opportunities available through the platform.

Our objective is to support that connection without presenting training as a guarantee of employment. Selection for any role will depend on the employer’s requirements and the candidate’s experience, performance, and suitability.

Supporting the Development of African AI Engineers

The Agentic AI Training Programme builds on our work in recruitment, skills development, and career access.

By working with DivVerse Labs, we are combining technical training with a structured application process and a platform through which participants can present their capabilities to employers.

We will continue to support programmes that help qualified professionals develop relevant skills, complete practical projects, and access opportunities that match their experience.
